Had a terrible experience with Lauren Lee. She is very sweet & has good mannerisms but by NO MEANS a blonde specialist. (Atleast not in my experience) I have not colored my hair in 3 years because I was trying to get it back healthy after years of highlights & my usual stylist moved to Lake Mary so I had been looking for someone local to start the blonde process again. I booked with Lauren for a full blonde balayage on December 27th. I showed Lauren several inspo photos & requested an ashy blonde. Everything seemed to be going great until she got done rinsing the color & toner & started blow drying/styling. In my peripheral I noticed some very chunky white pieces. She said she overtoned a little & that it should wash out in several washes. After going home & really inspecting my hair, it was awful! Orange roots, yellow, white, ashy, nothing blended, it was all over the place. I cried everyday for the next week & a half before messaging her & she scheduled me to come back in for a fix on 1/6/25. I went back & the photos will detail exactly how I l left. I also now realize why she never took any “after” photos. I would have been completely embarrassed to let someone leave my chair like she did, let alone charge them $280! While I 100% understand going from dark to blonde can be a process, (definitely not my first rodeo) what I left with was a HOT MESS & completely unacceptable for someone who claims to be a blonde specialist. How do you justify charging someone $280 for this & then dispute my chargeback!? I ended up booking with Misty at this same salon for a color correction on 2/18 & she did her thing! Had I booked with her first I could have saved myself $300, several hours & several weeks of depression.

I had the most amazing experience at New Concept Beauty with Deanna! I recently got my lip blush done and I couldn't be happier with the results. Deanna was professional, attentive, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. My lips look perfect, and I’m so excited to show them off! I also treated myself to a relaxing head spa and scalp massage, which was pure bliss. The combination of relaxation and beauty treatments made for an unforgettable experience. Lauren did exactly what I wanted and even better! I have brunette hair but I wanted to add blonde without it looking tacky. I wanted to look brighter since summer is on its way. She added just the perfect amount of blonde to create a balayage for me. Not too bright and blended perfectly! I was so nervous since my hair was dark for so long. The picture does not do justice bc it's amazing. Crazy how adding some color by a professional who knows what to do will make you feel about yourself! Thank you Lauren! Even my brother said "damn sis, it looks good" 😂

Lauren is amazing & the reason I go here! She is a genius when it comes to blonde hair. She took me from an embarrassing grown out bayalage yellow blonde to an icy full blonde in one visit. She took the time to pick out all the pieces that were already highlighted, to not over process them, and only highlighted the grown out. She toned my whole head and it looked amazing after. Her energy is very calm & super easy to book with.

New concept beauty is the place to go if you’re looking to get your brows done!! I have had Deanna, Kayah, and Taylor do my brows (wax,lami, and tint) And they come out beautifully every time! I’ve never felt so confident in my brows! If you’re looking to get fuller darker brows and feel absolutely beautiful I would definitely recommend The esties at new concept beauty for your brows!
