What a fun experience! Not only super chill and friendly vibes but also talented barber and a very sweet owner.
My son is 23 months and a few days ago he had his first haircut.
Naturally we were nervous and this is not your typical kids car seat type of barber shop this is a real adult shop but I think they did an incredible job and my son was entertained.

Thank goodness he didn’t destroy anything lol. I went on a photo rampage because everything in his shop is placed with style and taste (super clean BIG plus).

We are fans and we will be back for sure.

If you haven’t been here come by and I’d say it’s worth the drive ?

Oh and not to mention Pacifica has car parades like regularly for the town, how cool is that. The owner of this ever even offered my toddler to sit behind the wheel.. he has no idea what could happen ‍♀️

Luis does a great job, listens to what you want done and does it. With style. I've had my son's hair cut by the owner and he's been pleased with the cuts every time. You want a men's cut? Highly recommended.

If you're looking for a great and affordable barber shop then look no further. Illusions has an old school feel with classical barber chairs at each station. While walk-ins are accepted, I recommend making an appointment ahead of time. You can now make appointments on yelp and instagram, or if you're old fashioned you can give them a call.

I've only had my haircut by Lawrence. He definitely knows his craft, and if you're not sure what to get, he can talk you through some options.

I've been going to Illusions for nearly 20 years; I wouldn't get my hair cut anywhere else. Great people, always on time, and they do top quality work. Nelson has put a lot of effort into the decor and atmosphere with some great barbershop antiques that are fun to look at.

This is a great place to get your hair cut: good pricing, skilled barbers, and family owned. I'm originally from Miami and was having a difficult time finding someone who can give me a good taper. It seemed like no one around here knew how to line up a guy with dreads until I walked in here. I highly recommend paying the visit.
The antique stuff around the store is also pretty neat, kind of reminds me of American Pickers.

Nelson and Tina are the best barbers I ever had my hair cut with. The space Nelson created is so authentic and his attention to detail is outstanding.
Full of memorabilia and old school artifacts. I even had him give me a straight edge shave, man that was close. Not only all that but I don't think you can get a better deal on a haircut in the entire Bay Area. Illusions is also very charitable when it comes to supporting their local community. I rate them as "off the charts"!
