Wilver did a fantastic job! I asked and he worked his magic. In addition to dying my hair, he also gave it a thorough wash, cut, and blow-dry, which was the service I requested. Very unusual experience. I read great reviews about this being a hidden gem. I inquired about coming in for a haircut half way into my lunch break. When I arrived I decided to do a consultation and come back when I had the full hour. The person I spoke with questioned me and was visually annoyed. I explained what I was looking to have done and she returned to questioning why I changed my mind. The situation was extremely uncomfortable and confusing, so I ended up leaving.

***After posting my initial review (above), I received a voicemail from the individual I referenced, threatening legal action if I didn’t remove my comments. The message continued with an accusation that my request for a consultation instead of a quick haircut was racially motivated. This assumption is particularly concerning, as it reverses the very issue she raised.

In a professional setting, it’s quite common for clients to request a consultation to ensure services align with their needs. The assumption that this request was driven by race rather than customer service considerations was both unfounded and inappropriate.

I hope this experience can serve as a learning opportunity for the salon to treat every client with professionalism and avoid jumping to conclusions. Customer service should be about flexibility and respect for all, regardless of appearance or background.

I went in for a simple hair cut and specifically asked for them not to cut it short. I loved my hair long. She cut it so short and when I asked to stop she kept cutting. I hate it, I just payed and had to leave.. I will not be coming back my hair is almost to my shoulders.

I have not gone to a salon in over a decade before this. Upon entering, Jasmine was kind and sweet. I asked for advice on a hairstyle I wanted and she did an absolutely amazing job on it. I am not one for short hair but the job Jasmine did had me excited to show off. I received tons of compliments after leaving the salon and have never felt so beautiful and confident before. Absolutely plan on making regular trips to this salon. Amazing place!
