I’ve never had a negative experience with a dentist until now. As someone new to the town, I came here to have my child’s teeth checked, knowing he had positive experiences in Fresno. However, this dentist seemed uncomfortable working with my four-year-old, which made me uneasy about proceeding. Although he mentioned he treats children as young as three, he expressed doubts about whether my child would cooperate, citing concerns from other parents.

Instead of addressing the situation with compassion and understanding, he focused on his 41 years of experience and expertise, without showing empathy for our concerns. The only 5-star rating I can give is to his friendly, professional front desk staff and assistants, who helped us with X-rays and cleaning today. I credit them for having to work under such difficult circumstances with a dentist like the one I experienced today. If I could give zero stars to him, I would. I feel for anyone who has no other choice but to visit this office and face such a negative experience. It’s disappointing to encounter such a lack of care and professionalism.

The dental staff provided excellent service—friendly, skilled, and attentive throughout our visit. Unfortunately, our experience with the dentist was less positive. His demeanor was dismissive and lacked the level of courtesy we expected, which left my family feeling uneasy and uncertain about his capability to provide proper care. It’s disappointing that such a skilled team was overshadowed by the behavior of the dentist.

If you have bad anxiety, hate sitting in a dental chair, you need to come here! Coming from someone who was so scared to get work done and would want dentist to sedate me to do the work or else I just wouldn’t go through with it because of how terrified I was to see a dentist. Dr.owji made me feel so welcome, his level of expertise really made me feel like I was in great hands! I was previously diagnosed extractions elsewhere, but when I went to see Dr. Owji, he told me he can save my teeth and that’s exactly what he did. I got two root canals right next to each other and I thought for sure the next day I was gonna have pain or maybe have a swollen face and Instead, I had no pain! It felt like if I would’ve went in and got a deep cleaning. I didn’t even have to take any pain medication the next day. I really hope my review helps somebody who was once like me ? I highly recommend his office, No one else will ever touch my teeth, thanks Dr. Owji!

This is one of the best dentist around. I’ve had fear of dentists from having bad work in the past. only dentist I’ve trusted do major surgical work. I travel over 5 hours since moving just to get work I can trust.

Hands down the best dental office I have ever been too, and great with children too.
My kids were traumatized to even see a dentist but after they were seen by Dr Owji they love going to their check ups. Thank You 4 always making a dental visit something to actually happy to attend.
