Got the worst haircut of my life here and then the old guy tried to argue with me about my own hair on the sides being trimmed the same and then goes on to tell me my head is the reason for one side not being like the other. He literally shaved off one side of my head and faded the other and now it looks like I have 2 haircuts.

Spend 5$ extra for a place that actually can cut hair. TERRIBLE PLACE FOR A HAIRCUT. DO NOT COME HERE FOR A HAIRCUT. WARNING.

I had been traveling for several weeks and desperately needed a haircut. Staying in a hotel in Marina, I began to look on Google maps for a nearby barbershop and read several good reviews about Ray's Family Haircut Salon. So I made the short drive over to check them out. I was warmly greeted by a really nice man who I assume was "Ray" himself. He took very good care of me and proceeded to give me one of the best haircuts that I have had in many years! I jokingly asked if he would consider moving to Florida so that he could cut my hair on a regular basis! Hopefully, I can find a shop just as good as his once I get back home.

Went in for a haircut for my 4 year old. Ray was kind and quick. He was amazing with my son who is a squirmy kiddo, he was patient and worked around my kiddo, didnt get annoyed or upset he just kept working, it was a great experience.
We've found our new barber. We will be back!

Ready cut my hair for nearly two years while I lived in the local area. He and his wife are very good at what they do.

Sometimes there might be a small line but that is because they provide great service. They can do complicated fades required for military haircuts, kid haircuts, etc.

Will most certainly stop by again if I ever travel through the area.

First time at Ray's, I get the lady to cut my hair. She was very nice and get the hair done like how I want it. I like the minimal conversation and they're very quiet. The price is really cheap. I'd come again even after I move to Salinas.

Ray is efficient and attentive. Some may expect a lot more from their hair stylist/barber but for me, Ray is the man. No frills, no B.S. conversations about the weather or what I will be doing over the weekend, just a plain old hair cut done right and at that, for 20th century prices. I would happily pay twice the price for his service. Thank you sir!

I was in town for a business trip and needed a haircut with a bread trim. Ray was very professional and friendly. He was able to accommodate my walk in and the total cost was 11$. The other businesses around the area are beauty salons so they seem limited to accommodating women.

My normal haircuts are 20-30$ so seeing this kind of price had me worried. I would recommend this to any male in need of a standard barber style haircut.
