Risa did a fantastic job with my color correction, even after I forgot to mention a few details. She was efficient and patient, and I got the perfect color just in time for my wedding. Since we ran out of time for styling, she let me come back another day without extra charge, which was very generous. While Risa styled my hair, the salon owner, Reese, cut my fiancé's hair. It was a great experience with both stylists, and the salon has a cool vibe and reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

I’ve been going to Risa for about 4 years and she is a HAIR WIZARD!!! I went to Risa after I had a horrible experience of getting my hair fried off, Risa was able to nurse my hair back to health and get me to my desired hair color !! She is a genius and knows exactly what I want. She has the most amazing personality and is honestly the best hair dresser I’ve ever had in Chico! I have never left an appointment unsatisfied and she is just such a joy. She is an amazing conversationalist which is a great attribute when you’re in the chair for a couple hours. I can show Risa and picture on pinterest and not only can she do that for me but it’s even better than I could ever expect. She truly is such a joy around and so sweet and lively! I 100% recommended her for any of your hair care needs, she is so diligent and personable with each client. She knows what shampoo will work best for me, what hair care products that will show me results, truly cares for the integrity of my hair. She has some of the best prices in chico and such amazing quality. She is extremely time efficient too!! If you’re looking into getting any type of extensions she is also your girl! She perfectly matched hair color to your selected and gives a flawless, seamless installation ! I truly believe there is nothing she can’t do! I highly recommended Risa Flatten for anything hair related because she is so knowledgeable on all topics and works with ALL HAIR TYPES!!!!

I cannot recommend Risa more! Years ago on my first visit with her was the first time I was told by a hair dresser that I didn’t have TOO much hair. I always felt like a burden visiting anyone prior to meeting Risa and she has been my go-to ever since. Not only is she the only person I trust to properly layer my (curly-ish unruly) hair but also the only person I would let add color to it as well. She has never been shy of leading me in the right direction whenever I request anything. Comes out seamless and beautifully blended every time. Additionally, the conversation is all fun and something I look forward to when scheduling an appointment with her 🙂 wherever she is, I will follow. Thank you Risa!!
