My first experience with Ashley at Salon Onyx was a great one! She was very friendly , personable and knowledgeable about the color and style I desired. I am very happy with the outcome and will definitely be going back regularly to have my hair done!

Amazing! Amazing service, Crystal was very friendly and very communicative, excellent service!! She did an excellent job with my hair cut and at an extremely affordable price, if i could tip more I would've. Me and my sister went here as a walk in, sister gave her a $5 tip and I gave a dollar as thats all i can budget.

I posted on Facebook looking for someone to even out my hair. Ashley contacted me and we chatted for alittle while and I decided I would let her cut my hair . She seemed friendly on Facebook. I drove almost 45 minutes to her salon and 10 minutes before my appointment she messaged me and said she was running behind and would not be done with the lady before me until 5oclock ! My appointment was at 4 and It was 10 minutes before my appointment. I told her I was 10 minutes away and I drove almost 45 minutes. She said she would work me in and she was sorry about my drive . She then sent me a message while I was waiting in my car at 4:26 and said I could come in and she could get me shampooed. At that point I realized this appointment was going to run longer than I wanted. I expressed to her that I looked on the website and nun of the haircuts are what I was looking for and asked if they were the only pictures of her work that she could provide and she said yes so I expressed I was going to look for something closer to where I lived and thanked her as I walked out of the salon. I then went to Facebook the same night to message her again to apologize and make sure there were no hard feelings and still consider her for my color correction just to see that she blocked me from contacting her on Facebook.
I’m sorry but to me this is not professional at all. I should have been contacted more than 10 minutes before my appointment about a delay especially of an hour and I feel there was no need for me to blocked on social media.
The Solon itself was very clean and looked nice but the customer service the day of the appointment was not so great.
