The Seacliff Motel is a 5-star experience at a bargain rate(in the off season) The large room is nicely appointed with giant picture windows and comfortable chairs to enjoy the panoramic ocean view. Pay the premium for the top floor it's worth it. The property is clean, and well managed.
The front desk staff are friendly and accommodating.

Beautiful view! What a peaceful and wonderful experience to be in Gualala/Sea Ranch. The motel was very clean and quiet. No pets or kids allowed. The huge tub with jets in the room created a hot tub Paradise along with the ocean through the window. Then there is the fireplace and picture window with lounge chairs to watch a glorious sunset!

Small but beautiful hotel with absolutely stunning views of the Pacific, located in a quaint little coastal town right on the Pacific Coast Highway. It was one of the highlights of my trip. Be aware rooms do have guest limits (listed on website for each room) so if you have an extra, they do charge a fee. Regardless, would very readily come back again. The manager Laura was understanding of our situation and everything worked out. There is a beach nearby you can hike out to sit by the waves or stroll along and collect shells. There's a shirt trail along the bluffs by the hotels, cute little shops and restaurants in town. We unfortunately were only there for the night but I could've spent all week there. Highly recommend 🥰

Very nice hotel. The rooms on the second floor offer a splendid view of the ocean. Receptionist inn the lobby is very friendly. There is a coffee machine in the room but I wished they had some simple bkfst items such as croissant or bagels to go with. Also it's unfortunate that there is no beach access from the hotel or in the gualala town. The only way is to drive to the regional park, not to far but no pedestrian access unless you want to walk on hwy 1

This has beautiful views of the ocean. You will get to see breaching whales and bald eagles from the hotel room. They provide binoculars. They have porches to relax and enjoy the scenery. So relaxing here. Pizza place down the street, is delicious!

Best place to stay!

When the spa tub didn't work, the owner came down to fix it at 9 pm on a Saturday night. My husband and I were able to enjoy the spa tub experience.

Close to everything with views of the ocean.

We will come back

Hello, first of all the room was very nice! The fireplace and the bathtub are amazing.
We called last week and booked a room with 2 beds since we were bringing our 16 year old daughter as well. When we first call, I wouldn’t say the person that answered was rude but more curt and almost like she couldn’t be bothered with our call. We were told there was a room with 2 beds but decided to call around because of her unkindness. We quickly realized that finding another room would be difficult. So we called and booked the room with 2 beds. I had seen on the website about the $25.00 discount for this weekend and asked about it. She informed us the price she quoted us included that discount.
When we arrived on Saturday, we were told that even though our reservation clearly stated 2 beds, we only had a king size and our room had been given to someone else. The lady at the front desk did call other hotels to see if anyone else had another room with 2 beds and of course every other place was sold out. We took the room and my 60 year old husband slept on the floor. We asked if we would be charged still for the extra person and the front desk lady said of course, we had 3 people but our price would get a 25.00 discount that the owners had decided to offer that was not reflected on our bill. The same discount I had previously asked about. Very unapologetic for the fact that we only had 1 bed and again our paper clearly stated that we needed 2 beds!
Again, the room was nice, but the fact that you are the only place not sold out on a holiday weekend should say something. In a world where customer service is gone, it’s usually nice to see it in small towns and I will say everywhere else in town every one seemed very vice.
