I needed a haircut in a hurry and wasn't able to go to my regular stylist, so I looked up some reviews and ended up at Serenity.

The process of booking and paying beforehand was nice - it kept me on time to my appointment.

I brought in a picture of what I wanted and it's what I got. I was not upsold on anything - I wasn't asked for *anything* at the appointment (as I'd already paid online).

My hair was already clean so I didn't get a shampoo, but for the style haircut I wanted, they did flat iron it - which was nice because it meant the style was the right length/cut. I wasn't charged for this.

The salon was clean and quiet (some soft music on). I didn't wait even a minute before I sat down in the chair. It took less than an hour total. I had a great experience and got a great cut! I would recommend this salon to anyone, for sure.

In LA for the next several months and was in desperate need of services! Bryan got me in quickly when I reached out. I was really nervous about someone new doing my hair but that completely resided after walking in. He listened to what I wanted done and then gave his expert advice. I've been coming to Bryan ever since moving to this area several years ago. I'm no spring chicken and have had thousands of haircuts over the years. I have to say Bryan's cuts (and color) have been the best I've ever gotten, and his price is quite reasonable as well, especially considering his skill. I referred a family member who has had problems with even very expensive haircuts, and they have been extremely happy with Bryan's haircuts!!

As other reviews say, very easy to schedule with them, even last minute. The hair cut was good, better layering and blending than my last haircut in another state. One star off because I asked for a hair cut and was charged $80 when I expected $50 per the sign out front/prices online.

I didn’t question the cost, so that part is slightly my fault. During the cut, she asked and I said air dry was fine, I definitely did not ask for a blow out when scheduling or in person. She said she would blow dry the front to make sure the framing was okay and then blow dried the rest saying “it’s halfway dry anyways, also might as well make it look nice”. While I kind of nodded in agreement, I didn’t expect the additional cost.

Love Love Love Frieda. She is an amazing person and a great hair stylist. You tell her what you want and she makes it better. Like a true artist who sees how to mold her art piece. My hair looked so much fuller last time, my family believed I was wearing a wig. Nobody wanted to believe it is my hair. And the same magic happened this time, my second visit. I love that I didn’t need to do much with my hair between the two visits. It naturally fell beautifully and grew nicely. I went in for a color correction after being bleached out and white blond with damaged hair from a salon on Rodeo Dr!!. I read the reviews for Serenity Salon and saw Nicole. She spent 3 hrs working diligently on my hair, making sure there was no damage. My hair was root shadowed, toned with highlights. I can't believe this magic is possible. My hair is in wonderful condition and I feel and look fabulous. Thank you Nicole abd Brian.
