I had the best experience with Jose & Francisco at this salon! They took the time to explain what they were doing, and made sure I felt comfortable during the whole process. My hair turned out better than I could have imagined. I highly recommend them for anyone wanting to change up their hair!

Since the new ownership took over, it has been so bad. they don't value their employees who are so talented. Four of them who I loved left the place and it has not been the same since. The two girls left first! They were there for 8 years and the other two 20 years. One of the hairstylist saved my hair extensions which I paid $300.00 for and they refused to give them back to me. They mess up. I don't think they will survive past this year. bad karma coming. It is too bad. I really loved that place. I am going to find them wherever they went. Waiting to hear back from my friend who is good friends with them.

I have been going to Jose for years. I called Serenity to book my appointment with him. They casually said he is no longer there. I was shocked. He is the only one I have found who does my highlights amazingly! They did not give me his new location. Thank goodness I found him in Citrus Park. He is amazing at blonde highlights. I am disappointed Serenity Spa would remove my long term hairstylist and not notify me where he went. I go to a hair specialist, not a salon.

The best & most accommodating salon experience I’ve had! I have struggled since moving to Florida to find a salon that not only does my hair exactly how I like it, but also makes my entire appointment feel welcoming, comfortable, & luxurious. Also, love that I can also get facials & my nails done here as well. Maida is an incredible esthetician and I highly recommend booking with Sergio for blowouts! Found my forever salon!

We will not be coming to Serenity ever again. The owner sent a text to Francisco & Jose firing them. Both of these guys have been the glue that has held Serenity together. Every time we have been in Serenity both Francisco & Jose have been working very hard to take care of their clients. Not only were they fired the owner has yet to pay both Francisco & Jose for services rendered. Also, Jose & Francisco had a lot of their own furniture & plants there at Serenity. The owner said they could not have their furniture. Do yourself a favor and find Jose & Francisco at Salon Lofts in Citrus Park.

I am a bit confused as to how there are any positive reviews about this salon. I suspect they may be deleting negative reviews. This is by far the worst salon I have ever been to in regard to customer service and quality. I went in and asked for balayage and showed the stylist the model photo with light brown caramel highlights. She seemed to have no idea what she was doing and ended up lightening my hair too much and I left with an ashy blonde color which looked horrible and was not what I asked for. She said it looked like my photo and it was just the salon lighting () but if i still didn't like it she would fix it in a few days. I ended up calling back the next day and the receptionist (who was also rude) told me she wouldn't be back until July so i decided to have another stylist fix it. He ended up dying my hair red and in some places it legitimately looked pink. I told him this was too red and also not what I asked for and he told me it was the best they could do and now it will take a month for me to get to the color I asked for but only if I kept coming to him and having him fix it. When I came back and asked for a refund since it looked awful the stylist came out and yelled at me and told me that I don't deserve a refund and life isn't fair and that this is now my reality. I left and contacted the owner who was a despicable man who accused me of lying and said the stylists both said I left happy when that was clearly not the case. He also said both hair colors looked fine when they are both extremely unflattering and completely not what I asked for. He basically kept stringing me along saying he will contact the stylist and see if he could offer me a refund and never got back to me. Please avoid this salon at all costs. They do not know what they are doing and will verbally abuse you if you mention that they did not meet your standards.

Didn't like how I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip for the stylist right before I left. Don't stylists go to school to get the job? Are they not paid enough? Pay your stylists more and stop shoving your tip requests in customers faces right before they leave, it puts us on the spot to pay more on top for an already expensive haircut. It's weird. Other than that the Brazilian stylist guy did a good job.
