Review for The Powder Room with Celestina.

I got a haircut with Tina (Celestina) and it came out awesome! I started with medium length hair and went to short hair. I am non-binary and wanted a cut that reflects that. I feel I got that. 🙂 it's very cool this place has rooms for all different hair stylists to run their businesses out of.

I went to Debra at the San Marcos cubicle.
She actually had the nerve to tell me after the 2 nd time I had been there that she charges people Al la carte ..which is like separate for everything!!!
Wow..I have never ever, ever, ever heard of such a crazy thing.
She CHARGED ME $50 dollars for drying my hair!!!
I was just disgusted !
..
and the worst thing is she’s my next door neighbor
I paid her for bleaching highlights and washing my hair and she charged me $135
The time before that she charged me $195
And blow dried my hair and cut it. Disgusting

I have been in my studio since the day this location opened. I love the freedom I have gained! Since signing my lease my business has grown! I have more flexibility in my life to work when I want, and the location is so convinient for my customers. Sherry is so sweet to us and makes sure the building is kept looking new and fresh! I plan on staying here for a long time, check it out and stop in and say hi at the Powder Room if you have any questions!

Jodie Garcia is the best MUAH you can find! She made my hair go from a light-medium brown to magenta (intentionally), and yet my hair feels so silky soft despite the process.

If you enjoy being disrespected over the phone and talked to as if you were a child this is the perfect salon for you. On top of the terrible customer service, the undeserved since of entitlement from the condescending attitude I was given over the phone was enough for me to not even want to show up to the appointment I was trying schedule. I just hope it was worth loosing a potential loyal customer.
