as loud uncomfortable. I have lower back pain now since the appointment and the massage therapist that was half black and half Korean. I forgot her name was using racial slurs and saying how people are too sensitive now and how her dad used to call Hispanics w b* and how her brother 6'3 and he's black. she wanted to make it a point that we knew that she was half black and how big her brother was and how big her dad was and how people are so racially sensitive. I am Indian and my husband is half black and half Hispanic so for her by making these racial slurs we felt offended and uncomfortable during my whole massage and I'm sure the massage therapist working on my husband was uncomfortable by the things that she was saying it was not a pleasant Massage experience. I did speak to the spa manager and she offered me to come back at 3 o'clock yesterday to get another massage which I was already on my way home and then she offered asked me what I wanted and I asked for a refund and I only received half a refund even though our whole massage experience was ruined so if you want to use this spa, go right ahead, but be ready to listen to racial slurs, and the girl's brother is 6'3 and black . Speaking very, very loud, I've been to a lot of spas all over the world and this the worst experiences I've had and the way the staff is handled is absolutely a big joke.

Absolutely breathtaking. If you leave here stressed it not their fault. I was really blown away by the attention to detail. In the men's locker room, you can take a nice steam, dry your swim trunks and take a nice shower. The locker room had any products you can think of made by carmel valley ranch. I'm talking shaving cream and razors, brushes, combs, hair dryer, mouthwash, moisturizers aftershave, hair spray, q-tips ECT. After you freshen up, the servers in the lodge are outstanding and the food is reasonably priced considering the paradise you are in. The 3 hour nap by the pool today in the super comfortable pool lounger was soul food. Bravo Carmel Valley Ranch and Spa Aiyana!!!

My boyfriend and I booked the couples Bee Beautiful treatment. The room was really nice with fireplace! Lavender honey body scrub, then they wrap you up in hot towel and blanket and while it soaks in you get a mini facial. Then you take a quick shower together in your own private bathroom and get all the scrub off. Finished off with a shea butter and honey massage. And a prickly pear facial serum at the end. Champagne and lavender shortbread cookies to toast after the service. This was such an amazing and romantic experience. Well worth the $$$! Absolutely stunning and so relaxing.

I’m so impressed! I was stunned at all the gorgeous views and amazing staff that work there! I had the most relaxing massaging experience with manny/ Manuel. Such a sweetheart and professional. We enjoyed the hot steam shower lockers, hot tub pool and our server Emma was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed at all times! Can’t wait to come back on my girls trip. Thank you so much for this wonderful weekend

Great spa and place to relax a must !

My bf and I received two spa treatments on 4/13 at 4:00pm. A couples massage and scalp treatment. After the visit, we were charged a service fee of 20%, on top of our services. (We were never told this but said it was stated in an email)

We asked the cashier is this gratuity ? They replied “ No.”So we gave cash tip of $45 per person.

We were very confused by the service charge and this left a very bad taste in our mouth. I felt very deceived by this and I have tried to contact the spa 3 separate times. I’ve spoke to two people who claim is isn’t a tip? But it’s in lieu of a tip?

During the last conversation, the front desk asked me to email the spa manager. I’m unsure how customers are treated there but after my 3rd attempt you would assume they would take MY NUMBER down and contact me! And explain what is going on. Super disappointed with their service and staff for not being more informative/ honest with their fees.
