I used to go to Spa Xanadu years ago, but after the pandemic, I kind of forgot about getting massages. Fast forward to this past month when I strained my neck and shoulders and decided a massage would help relax me. I called and got an appointment the next day. They remembered me!! I had Heidi, who gave me an amazing hot stone massage. She knew exactly where to focus in order to help relieve my pain. The owners, Donna & Hank, are very friendly and attentive. Both times I've gone during the week, and each time I had the place to myself. Maybe I shouldn't write a good review so that no one else discovers this great spot. It's bare bones, but still a great place. The spa facility includes a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and showers, as well as lockers to store your personal belongings. I'm going to keep making appointments, and look forward to my next visit. I highly recommend this place so close to home!

I have been coming to this place for many years to have my facials and waxing done - over 15 years, at least. Toughed it out during the pandemic and as soon as things started opening up again, was so relieved to see they survived. Recently, I moved about 100 miles away, but I’d rather take the drive than go anywhere else. Yes, they are that good! For context, Donna is my primary technician, but I’ve had a couple others who were also good.

This place is very nice, clean, and the ambience is very good! All staff are super kind and knowledgeable. The service was great. My daughter had a facial service + a massage. My husband and I got a 70 minutes massage which was amazing. Thank you for having us!

I have been going to Spa Xanadu for more than 10 years. The owners, Donna and Hank, make every effort to ensure that the customer experience is relaxing and healing.

Donna's expertise in skin care has transformed my skin from problematic rosea to a glowing, happy and healthy complexion. At 63 I get compliments all the time and asked how I keep my skin so beautiful.

What I love most about this spa is the personal attention given. It's not a cookie cutter spa looking to sell the same experience every time. Skin care is delivered based on your skins needs and the most recent technology is available.

Massages can be tailored to what you need most for relaxation. Hot stone, deep tissue, they do just about everything. Don't want to soak in the jacuzzi? Try the red light therapy room instead. Feel like a body scrub? They can do that too. Oh, and don't worry about your skin care purchases either. You can pick that up at Spa Xanadu as well.

This spa has a luxurious feel and is warm and inviting. Even after moving to San Dimas I make the drive to Arcadia because the experience is relaxing every time.

My Husband and I visited the spa this past weekend and I left feeling very disappointed with the customer service. The massages were great and the couples spa room was very nice. The one gripe I have about the massage is that my husband was told that stronger pressure would be an additional $10! That is not an add-on....that should be included based on preference.
As for the facials, it sounds like my Husband received a better treatment than I did. The lady he had used different tools on him, offered some great tips and even offered him an add-on which he chose. The lady that did my facial hardly said a word and never offered anything additional.
The biggest disappointment came when I went to the register to pay. When I called to book the package, I had been told on the phone that I could use my spa finder gift card towards the package. I presented my gift card and was told that it could not be applied towards the package. I explained that I had previously asked when I called in and she apologized but said that in order to pay with the gift card the services would need to be itemized out which would have made the total higher than the package price. I was very disappointed with the fact that they acknowledged that the other person was incorrect and yet did nothing to remedy their error (the lady seemed to imply that this wasn't the first time that this had happened as she knew exactly which person I had spoken to on the phone). I doubt that we will be returning to this spa in the future.

Steer clear of the spa membership! While the services are great and I have no complaints about the quality and benefit of my regular facials with Ana, the bookkeeping at this business rates a low score. I purchased a 6-month membership which required first and last month's fees paid up front. I decided to cancel the membership since I no longer live in the area and, per the terms of the agreement, I hand-delivered the required written notice directly to the spa on July 28 for a membership ending on September 5. I just discovered that I have been charged for August, even though I had already prepaid this month. And I have yet to hear from the person at the spa who processes contract cancellations for confirmation. If you use Spa Xanadu, I recommend that you pay as you go and watch your billing statement carefully!
