I have been seeing a wonderful hair stylist at Spank’s for about 10 years. Her name is Veronica, but she is no longer working. I took a chance with another stylist, Ellie, today. I am beyond disappointed. I needed a hair cut, roots and highlights after a year of Covid. I don’t know what she didn’t understand, but I left with almost red hair, no highlights and not a professional haircut. I was planning to spend at least $300. Fortunately Ellie had the decency not to charge me. I left with a foil of bleach on my hair per my request. That was the only part that came close to the highlights I originally requested. I wasted three hours there and my hair is a hot mess.

Blew off my wife for her appointment and owner Angela finally got back to me to deflect blame and not apologize for anything.

Went elsewhere, plenty of businesses who actually respect people’s time and don’t blow people off unapologetically.

Must be nice to have so many clients you can be that arrogant and socially oblivious.

Wife tried to reach out numerous times after and never called back, don’t manage main phone number or email actively.

Here’s a piece of advice, don’t blow people off and then call back a week later without an apology.

Total bullshit.

I can't say enough good things about Angela. She gave me just what I wanted and it turned out better than I expected. Do yourself a favor and have Angela cut your hair, she is amazing. I will be going back! Thank you, Angela, for giving me a great haircut after another hair stylist from another salon chemically burned my hair.

I love Gina at Spank! She does wonders on my curly, thick hair with stubborn grays. I always feel like the best version of myself when I get a cut and color. A++
