Anahy did an incredible job on my daughter's hair. She is 14 and was in need of a real cut with style and shape. She cut off her dead ends and she styled her hair and shaped her bangs. It looks incredible! Thank you so much.

Hello, I came in yesterday for my appointment, and before setting it up, I made sure to let the receptionist know that I needed a haircut. I also mentioned that I have specific hair care needs and wanted to ensure they paired me with the right stylist.

When I arrived, the stylist seemed very young, and it gave me the impression that she might have just graduated and was still a junior stylist. I was a bit unsure if she had the experience to work with my hair, so I showed her some pictures of both short and long hairstyles. I even told her that if she wasn’t comfortable cutting it short, we could go with a long hairstyle instead.

She assured me, very confidently, that she could handle all types of cuts. I made sure to overcommunicate how important it was to me that my long hair be handled carefully, as I didn’t want it ruined.

The pictures I’m sharing show how my hair looked when I got home after she styled and straightened it. Please I ask for a full refund. I have to go to another haircut salon to get it fixed. I have an appointment already

Today was my first visit to Special FX. My stylist, Anahy, was personable and made me feel comfortable. Got a wonderful haircut by Heath today. He adjusted my layers and lightened it all while keeping my hair long as I want to grow it out. I love how well he cuts the layers to frame my face and add dimension at the same time. Heath is my all time favorite hairdresser! He is very professional, detail oriented, caring and careful to make sure I am happy with the cut. He also always gives great advice on products to use based on what I need for my hair. I recommend him 1000% 🙂

I've only been here twice specifically to see Rachael as she was referred to me because she specializes in curly hair and has curly hair herself! I have fine curly hair, and wanted to find someone who could structure and shape it well. She has been amazing! And her personality is bright and fun to top it off. And if you refer someone, they get a $20 discount from their cut and 20% off of products their first time AND I get $20 off my next cut. AND their services are already reasonable, esp for the Bay Area. Love that!! The salon is clean and well kept. I will keep coming here.

I have been coming to get my hair cut by Dani for many years, and she always does an excellent job. In addition to her wonderful personality, the entire experience is efficient, satisfying, and well worth the cost. I would 100% recommend any man to come see her to get his hair cut.
