I am so upset. I just left there with my eyebrows hacked They don’t even match. I’ve spent months and months trying to let them grow out to their original thickness so when I went in today, I intended to get my forehead threaded as I normally do when I get my eyebrows done. The threader asked me to do my eyebrows and I said OK but just a light cleanup because they’ve been growing and I’m still trying to let them grow out and she said OK. OK clean. She was doing my eyebrows all the while having a conversation with other men that were there so I believe she was not paying attention to what she was doing. There was no care for what she was doing. As she was threading near my eyebrow, I could feel the pain and burn and hairs being ripped out, and I was thinking to myself, “she is taking a lot of hair out” and as soon as she handed me that mirror, and I looked at them I saw they were so thin. I asked for a light cleanup, and she completely went against what I said, and decided to take out most of my hair and one eyebrow is much thinner and different than the other. So not only are they thin, they’re not even the same. I’ve never been so upset you might say it’s just eyebrows are gonna grow back but when I’ve spent now most of the year and last year, trying to regrow them to look more natural and just for someone to take them all away and it really does put an effect on you. To top it off I explained to her my position and exactly what I wanted and she did not care because the conversation that she was having with the two men was more important than the care of her client. I urge everybody to be careful when you go there and if you do decide to go there only let the older woman help you unless you want some thin awful eyebrows. The girl that helped me I think her name is Jody. She had braids and either henna or tattoos on her hands and I believe she wears glasses. She’s the more trendy young looking girl. I knew when I didn’t see the usual older lady that I trust to clean up my eyebrows I shouldn’t have done it, but I let her do it anyways against my judgment. I really wish I trusted my gut. it’s gonna take me another year to try to grow them back.

I’ve been coming to this place since high school ( about 5 years). Sad to they use to do amazing eyebrow threading, but now their work is TRASH and so is their customer service. The workers have no shame in giving faces, talking mess in front of you to their other employees, and making you feel highly unwelcome. Don’t give this place your money, and go somewhere else because I know I will seeking another place where I feel comfortable for a service I PAY for.

I’ve been coming here for months now. I’m always happy with the result. Joti is great! My 14yr old daughter now gets hers too and this is the only place she likes.

Unprofessional! I was made felt Unwelcome. I had an Eyebrow and Upper Lip threading. There is a short tan lady, she made a million faces while giving me the service. That too I am Punjabi!!!!
DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

Came here for Simple curls with a side part and got charged $65 for crinkled hair with curls and the part down the middle. I'm not one to complain but i was mad. Went home and fixed it. Also the lady spray painted my hair without telling me. I was shocked when i washed it off. Never coming back. Don't recommend

I have been coming here for the past 3 years with Joti, she is the best! she is very kind, makes sure the job is done correctly. She is the only one I trust with my brows. Their new salon is right next to the old Toys R Us, it is so spacious, also easy parking. I highly recommend star beauty to everyone
