Mercedes is such a great stylist and person! She saved me from a disastrous series of bad cuts from other stylists that had pretty much ended up in a mullet cut. My hair was beat up and a total mess, but Mercedes turned it all around in one visit! She listened carefully to what I wanted and reworked my choppy cut such that I left the visit with a lovely cut that grew out as beautifully as she promised it would. I’m looking forward to my next appointment!

I am cautious about getting my hair cut. Being “of a certain age”, with short hair, I am frequently given an unimaginative short chop, which looks unfeminine and bland. So I was more than pleased to meet Naomi, who listened to my complaints and desires , looked at my pictures, and gave me a wonderful haircut that worked with my particular hair. I’ll have to grow my hair a bit before I can have the look I was desiring, and Naomi explained that to me, and created a style that achieved what is currently possible for me. She was able to make my partially curly hair look good instead of something to overcome! And it didn’t hurt that we chatted the whole time, finding much common ground! She made it easy to just relax and be myself. The salon itself is kind of tucked away at the intersection of US1 and Reina, a place I’ve driven by hundreds of times, and has a serene and comfortable atmosphere, with nice lighting and good space .It doesn’t feel like it’s close to a busy highway at all. While this salon was not a $35. haircut place, it also was not one of those salons that seem to be more of a spa that I fear walking into because I am not into waxing and nail care and skin treatments etc. While Sterling may well offer those services, I didn’t feel like it was obligatory .This was a lovely, relaxing experience and I love my new hair. I will be a regular customer here!

Jerrica is awesome! She gives the best head massages, shampoo is my favorite part of the service. She is super friendly and does great work. I got a balayage for the first time this summer. But most recently did a glaze and cut.
