I have lived in Sonoma County for 26 years and have had many massages over those years. Sue was one of the best massage therapists that has worked on me. I had a tense week at work and she intuitively knew exactly what parts of my neck and shoulders needed deep tissue work. She also used hot stones to relieve muscle tension and pain. She asked several questions prior to her working on me to better understand my body sensitivities. The location is very easy to find and the massage room has a nice ambiance. Sue is at the top of her profession and has a knowledge of human anatomy and put a lot of energy into my 1.5hr massage. I personally am an exceptional bodywork myself and finding a clone and someone who gives massage the way they would want one is like finding a needle in a haystack and then I found Sue ! She’s amazing 🤩 so amazing in fact I see here every week for 2.5 hours! She’s open to direction, she encompasses the entire body, uses hot stones, is thorough in her work. Sue is a life saver! When my last OT, who provided my lymphedema therapy, didn't advocate for me with my insurance company I could no longer get the adjunctive therapy I needed to keep my lymphedema in control and my technique wasn't working at all. I was lucky enough to find Sue. In just a month she had my arm feeling 100% better and she continuously teaches me the techniques I need to know to keep this under control. I have very mild lymphedema in my right arm after bilateral mastectomy and two lymph nodes taken out during nodal dissection, but I am unfortunately one of those people who despite not falling into the categories for people who get lymphedema--I do! It's been really uncomfortable for months and now I can finally say I have relief from the discomfort and I'm feeling very positive about keeping it managed with Sue's amazing help. I have even had a few regular, full-body massages just for a little indulgence and that has been so, so wonderful to experience her relaxing technique.
