First time coming here - great music, old school barbershop. May was a fantastic barber. She listened to me carefully and helped me determine the best hairstyle for my hair texture and head shape. I was very happy with my haircut, especially the skin fade which was perfect. I felt very comfortable and felt at home while there and I appreciated that May tidied up the haircut in the end with shears. Highly recommend May and this barbershop.

I have been here a few times and got a haircut from May. She died a great job when my hair is long or short. She takes the time to shave my neck, behing my ears, and above my sideburns. Makes a big difference to me.

Ever since moving to Austin, I was in need of a consistent and precise barber. Upon my first trip to seeing Mark, it was evident that I had found that.

Mark has been my barber now for 3 years. I see him on a monthly basis or whenever I have an event. Heck, I see him more than my own family. Within a short time, we instantly connected. He made me feel safe and comfortable the moment I sat in his chair.

As for the cuts, he gets it just right EVERY time. He is precise, patient, and focused. If I need anything changed or trimmed a certain way, he listens, provides feedback, and delivers the results i’m wanting.

I always have so many people asking me who my barber is. Mark Sanchez is easily the guy I always recommend. He never disappoints!

Been a loyal customer since moving to Austin 3.5 years ago and have gotten around 25 total haircuts but the quality of the service has slowly been going down while prices increasing(get that this comes with inflation but this combo is very problematic). Really don’t like changing barbers but this is last straw. Would be happier with a simple buzz cut.

This Saturday’s(7/20/24) haircut was one of the worst I’ve ever received and would be 1 star but giving 2 stars due to first 2 years/around 15 haircuts(4-5 stars). One entire side and part of the back was missed up top - awkward/uneven 1 inch of hair which looks and will grow in terribly. This was due to rushing and a lack of care as I’ve used the same Barber since my first visit and know she is skilled in general. Seems they are trending towards high volume as it used to take closer to 45 minutes and I would be asked and shown in detail if it looks good during and at end of haircut. This haircut was under 30 minutes and cost $50.

What makes it worse is that this was done on a skin high/tight fade and the same style I’ve always gotten. My hair was combed over most of this section(not how I style it)/didn’t notice it due to being rushed out until I got home. Also, texture scissors weren’t really used and entire haircut was done facing away from mirror and I wasn’t shown the back of my haircut at any point before leaving.

Had to have my girlfriend cut the missed part off with scissors to be presentable for an event and then had to have another Barber clean up the rest the following day for a haircut I paid $50 for. Brutal, lazy, and unprofessional.

Great barbershop, I have gone to Alan there multiple times and he always does an excellent job. Regardless of if I switch up the style or not, I haven’t left disappointed yet. Highly recommend, and you get what you pay for because the cuts are high quality and Alan has been happy to help with products or styling recommendations.
