Liana is amazing! Not only is she a skilled artist who loves her work, she is super nice to talk with. She gave me great ideas for styling my sometimes unruly hair, and she did a great job of coloring and cutting my hair. And she didn't make me feel guilty for trying things at home before I came to her!

The salon has a nice vibe to it too (I don't like most salons these days...). The Artistic is a nice combination of clean and tidy with positive people who seem to enjoy their work, and no harsh chemical smells. I am happy to have landed in a great place on my first try in a new town. I have no need to look anywhere else.

Lovely staff! Liana was my stylist and she managed to get my COVID hair mess into shape. I love my haircut, and I also liked the scalp and hand massage! Such a nice thing to have done in addition to my hair. I will be coming back for sure!

Camille did my wife's hair. Or I should say hacked it! Charged $60.00! Needless to say she's not going back. Overpriced. Poor quality.

The Artistic salon (and my awesome stylist Louann) has transformed my fine, straight, limp hair from blah to fabulous! I never imagined it would become routine for me to get compliments on my style and color from both friends and strangers. The experience at the salon is restful and welcoming and the Aveda products they use are wonderful.
If you want to take your hair and skin care to the next level, the Artistic is the place to go!

The artistic salon?.....more like the con-artists salon. They will set you up for an appointment and consult only to tell you that it will cost over $200 for a color and cut. I was quoted for anywhere between 80 to 150 when i called to make my appointment. There are no discounts and they won't work with you on the price. I showed up for my appointment with $160 and needed to be beautiful for a family reunion the next day only to be told that there was nothing they could do for me. So if you're looking for a high-end over priced pretentious salon then you've found it. I however will never return. The hair depot only 2 miles down the road went above and beyond to accommodate me and worked me in that day without hesitation at a reasonable price. Don't let the aveda market fool you. No products are worth that much of anyone's hard earned pay for 2 hours of work. I highly recommend seeking other options.

Haika is great with short hair and does razor cuts, which can be hard to find a stylist that is great at! Shes worked with me multiple times with crazy thick long hair, and with pixie cuts. HIGHLY reccomend any of the staff here, especially her!

I 've had my hair cut at the Artistic for many years by Hyca (misspelled) she is very professional does a great cut and very nice and makes you feel comfortable. I would recommend the Artistic to anyone needing a great cut located walking distance from Old Town Auburn
