Blaine is fantastic, I’ve been going to him for about two years now and am so happy to have found him! He did balayage color on my hair over a year ago and it STILL looks good. His new space at The Hair Bungalow is very nice, clean, convenient and has the most comfortable shampoo chairs I’ve ever sat in. Beyond doing an amazing job on my hair Blaine is a kind, professional and genuine human being. I always enjoy catching up with him whenever I get my hair cut. I always leave looking and feeling great, truly can’t recommend enough!

Blaine at The Hair Bungalow has been making my hair look so good for years that strangers literally stop me on the street to compliment it—no joke, it happens all the time. He’s been in the game forever, but this new studio? Total upgrade. It's spotless, stylish, and has an awesome vibe that makes you want to stay way past your appointment. I’ve been going to Blaine for a little over 1 year and let me tell you, he’s the only person I trust to cut my hair. Wherever Blaine goes, I go!! It’s just that simple. Not only is Blaine incredibly talented, but he’s also one of the friendliest, funniest people you’ll ever meet. GO TO BLAINE FOR MENS HAIRCUTS! I have been going to Blaine since I met him in May 2023 at his prior salon on Broadway. He always does a fantastic job and every time I walk out the door, will get a compliment on the cut from a random stranger. He is responsive, does a great job and will take great care of you when you sit in the chair. It can be tough finding a go-to person when you land in a new city or town (or here in Long Beach), so if this is you, reach out to Blaine and he'll take care of you!

The Hair Bungalow is my favorite new addition to Belmont Heights. I’m so grateful to see small businesses thrive in this neighborhood and I hope this salon is here to stay. The owners are welcoming and kind and you can tell they’re putting their whole heart in this business. Also, Blaine just knows hair! He always gives me exactly what I ask for and I leave feeling so refreshed.

Followed Blaine from another salon because after getting a balayage done by him last year, I knew I could trust his work! Blaine has the magic touch; his work is great and he never damages my hair. I got a touch up this past weekend and loved seeing the new spot, The Hair Bungalow. The salon is in a great spot, clean and the staff are friendly.

This is by for sure one of the best spots in LBC!
I had a major event to go to for work, And I needed a really good haircut to look my best. I was able to schedule an appointment for Two days out. When I showed up for my appointment, the owner was there. He was friendly and engaging, right away I was offered something cold to drink and to showed to my chair. It’s a really cool spot with a great relaxed vibe, No attitude just a great cut. I didn’t realize I scored an appointment with the owner BLAINE, who asked me a few questions about what I wanted, what I liked and what I was thinking. It was a little bit longer than an hour but I was so comfortable it felt like 15 minutes. Needless to say I received a great cut and it was a totally excellent experience all the way around. I felt like a million bucks and at the work event I got complimented on my new cut, I didn’t realize how much a fresh cut could make you feel and look. Another thing that stood out was that I was able to pre-book my next appointment right in my chair. I’ll be back every month!
