While traveling, we had to make a quick adjustment as I5 was shut down due to snow and we couldn’t make it to Oregon. My husband found the Inn at Shasta Lake and I called. They had a pet friendly room and it was a wonderful stay—we felt so fortunate. We had a queen size bed with a view of the forest and Trees, Jacuzzi hot tub and excellent bathroom. While speaking with the Inn keeper Max on the phone he was extremely detailed and helpful letting us know how to navigate getting there safely with the highway closures and what to tell the police if we were stopped which we were. They let us through and everything was fine. Additionally, breakfast is included and they bring it to you to your room in a basket. Everything was delicious. French toast, bagels, coffee, etc. Also as a dog friendly room it came with a dog towel and a dog sheet for the bed and the floors were all tiled, which was really great made for an excellent stay. Lastly the rate is extremely reasonable for such a wonderful property. Highly recommended!

Our weekend at the Inn at Shasta Lake was exactly what we needed—a peaceful, comfortable getaway with great service and beautiful surroundings.

From the start, everything was clean and well-maintained, making it easy to settle in and relax. The tub in our room was fantastic, and the fireplace added a cozy touch that made our stay even better. The staff was incredibly attentive, always polite, and went out of their way to accommodate our dietary needs for breakfast, which we really appreciated.

The location was also perfect. It’s close enough to Redding for a quick trip into town, but also just a short drive from Mount Shasta, where we spent a couple of days exploring.

Overall, it was a refreshing and well-rounded retreat—comfortable, quiet, and exactly what we were looking for. We’ll definitely be back.

WOW! Just wow, I spent the weekend there 2-1-2025, and found that first rate service from Max and staff was amazing, we headed up to so some sight seeing and they offered room service, amazing Indian food at a super reasonable price. Room was amazing, everyone there was so friendly. I will definitely be back from just the shear care they gave us. 7 out of 5 stars !!!

Picked this place to stay on our way to the coast as it had good reviews. All day the manager was in touch with information about how to get there and how to get in your room, as it is a little off the beaten path, and once you arrived checked to see if you needed anything. Service is amazing. WOW what a find. Our room was very comfortable, awesome bed, awesome pillows, super nice sheets, a fireplace, walk in shower and claw foot tub. You fill out a sheet with breakfast choices and they bring it to your room in a big basket. I only wish we had come during better weather as I would have loved to spend time in one of the many patio swings to absorb the quiet beauty of this place. Highly recommend.

Unbelievably cool find! We were driving south from Montana to LA and needed a nice quiet place to stay overnight. The Inn at Shasta Lake popped up on my map and I'm so happy we picked it up. Super friendly staff who answered immediately. Amazing breakfast, comfortable room with very large sitting area and kitchenette. All packaged in a mysterious atmosphere of forest and fog. It's close to the interstate which makes for very easy access but it's not noisy. The place is very well maintained, very clean and very quiet. We will come again and stay longer next time we're in the area.

The private Acorn cabin was clean and well maintained . Everything in the cabin worked as they should. It was nice having a whirlpool tub in the room as well as the large walk in shower. The breakfast they cooked and brought to our room was great. The gas fireplace kept the room warm and cozy. I would go there again especially because they allow dogs.
