Keely did my hair for the first time and absolutely nailed it! I came in with unblended striped highlights and a chunky money piece that went to the root. I told her I hated it and wanted to have natural looking hair I can live in. She did exactly that! I was so surprised with the difference. I definitely recommend going to Keely to get your hair done. I've been a loyal client of Amanda's for the past two years, and she is simply the best. I no longer live in the Orlando area but I still travel back just to see her. That's how great she is. She always involves me in the process, explaining exactly what she is doing and why. This not only makes me feel comfortable but also ensures that my vision is perfectly executed every single time. Amanda's incredible work has never once disappointed me. My hair always looks and feels incredible – she consistently exceeds my expectations.

This place was highly recommended by a friend and based off of the good reviews, I was excited for my experience especially since it’s located so close to me. Maybe I came on a bad day but for this being my first visit, it was by far from the experience I was hoping for. The experience was 0/10. My appointment was today for 2:30pm with Whitney for a blowout. I arrived to my appointment at 2:23pm. There was no one at the reception desk and I ended up poking my head into a barbershop that is located in the same vicinity. It wasn’t until I saw another client walk in and went around the corner, to the left where the actual salon is. Upon arriving, I noticed there was only one other stylist - Faviane, I believe and another girl who might’ve been an assistant? She offered me water which I declined and then said “I will get you checked in” - which I had already did at the kiosk that was at the front. It was now 2:40pm and I was still waiting. I noticed Whitney had called another client who seemed to have just washed their hair. I was unsure of the salon’s operations so I waited a little longer assuming I was next and maybe Whitney was setting this client up for someone else. It was now 2:50pm and I still was not acknowledged by Whitney or updated on whether Im still being seen or not. It was then I called for the “assistant” and asked about Whitney or if I should come another time. The assistant then proceeded to say she was going to shampoo me. She shampooed my hair in 7 minutes! In my opinion, the wash was rushed. The middle of my scalp and top of head was still dry. She then offered me a complimentary hair mask because she said my ends were “dry” and this mask will provide hydration which I didn’t question because at this point, I was just frustrated. I understand she was probably “buying” time for Whitney to finish up with he other person but this girl never came back to check on me, even after 13 mins with this mask in my hair (from 2:57pm until 3:10p) It was then that Faviane came with her customer to wash her hair that she saw me fidgeting. At this point, I was very close to rinsing my own hair in the sink had she not asked me what was wrong. I proceeded to let her know its been almost an hr and Whitney still has not come by. I expressed how i wanted my hair rinsed so I can leave. This whole experience delayed my day. My biggest issue was the lack of communication- I really would’ve preferred if someone would’ve told me that she was behind on customers. I could’ve went about my day or even rescheduled but nothing was communicated and it seemed that “Whitney is finishing up” so I stayed assuming I was getting seen any minute. Although Whitney was very nice and I saw the effort to still make up for the experience as she tried to make conversation- it still doesn’t take away that I didn’t get seen until an hour after my appointment. After my conversation with Faviane, Whitney came to rinse me and I still waited in the salon chair for her to “finish up”. She started blowing out my hair by 3:25pm and I was out the door by 4:00pm. Again, it seemed rushed as she had another client waiting for her to finish with me. That’s unfair to any customer. A more transparent communication about wait times would have made a huge difference but no. Given how delayed everything was, I really expected some kind of compensation, like a discount, but nothing was offered. Yes, I still paid as that is what you do as a customer receiving a service but honestly, the whole service should’ve been compensated which I would still appreciate but I wanted to leave so fast. There was no energy to bring it up. The business seems strict about their policies and specifically promotes in their cancellation policy - “ late appointment arrivals impacting the completion of service are subject to being charged the full price of the scheduled service(s) to the cardholder “ but what about when the service provider is behind? Thanks.

Ivory Salon was a very pleasant first experience. From the start the receptionist was so sweet & she made me feel very comfortable. Keely was my stylist and she was just as sweet, very personable & knowledgeable. She colored my roots to blend into my highlights & lowlights. I would definitely recommend the salon to anyone! Cannot recommend The Ivory Salon enough!

The most beautiful place to enter.. passing through the cutest flower shop, and always greeted with a warm smile from Carleigh. The space is impeccably clean, modern, welcoming, and decorated fabulously! Every stylist is so sweet.

I love looking forward to my appointments with Faviane! She listens empathetically with a hair concern (or a personal crisis) and treats you with the upmost care. She is honest with her feedback and she wants you to feel and look your best. And you do! I feel as if every visit has been a hug. It's easy to schedule online or in-person, the prices are fair, and the whole experience from walking in- to leaving with beautiful hair is absolutely lovely.

And they always have a seasonal drink that is delicious!
