I’ve been loyal to Jackal & Hare since it’s opening 5 years ago. The shop and it’s team are welcoming, knowledgeable and most importantly full of TALENT. I am consistently showered with compliments on the street post visit. Every barber has their own unique way of making you look/feel your best. It’s a safe space for Queer POC, too. Highly recommend checking this place out!

My first time at Jackal & Hare and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Cisco was fantastic. I’ve been looking for a solid barber in LA for a while and I’m so glad I found Cisco. He’s super talented, skillful and gave me the exact cut I asked for. He also checked in along the way as well as explained things about my hair/his method which made me feel comfortable and confident in the cut. Excited to have someone I can rely on for a great cut and a relaxing environment!

I was in LA for holiday and needed a haircut. After a bit of research and a friend's recommendation, I booked a slot with Cisco and had one of the best haircut ever (and I'm usually super picky!). Can't wait to come back, maybe on my next holiday. Cisco was also very kind to wait for me as I arrived a bit late (traffic and rain in LA are a terrible combo). Great service, great place, highly recommended.

I've been going to Vee for over a year and she is by far the best barber I've had. Her cuts are always consistent and exactly what I want. Also, she's just a really cool and down to earth person. I'm so thrilled that she opened her own shop, which is clean and comfortable. I'd recommend Vee and Jackal and Hare to anyone!

Been going to Vee for my cut and fade and couldn’t be happier. She really knows her craft and takes the time to ensure that your cut compliments your head and face shape. For instance, I didn’t know that I had
my prior cut (pre Jackal & Hare) swept to the wrong side since my back hair “swirl” was not falling into place and instead kept falling if not for a ton of product. Just got my hair correctly cut and it just naturally sits. 😉 Great perk is Vee also gives you tips on how to style your hair as she’s doing it so you have key styling takeaways. Her vibe and chat make the whole experience relaxing and I truly look forward to my cut and fade every couple of weeks. She does get booked up as folks say but once you get a cut you will be hooked, no going back! Thankful for this safe space as a queer non-binary person and so pleased to have found this gem. 🙂 Parking is rather sparse but don’t be a butt and park in unmarked areas in their small lot. You may have to use parking meters or risk using the adjacent plaza lots and walk it (probably wouldn’t use the bank’s lol). Extra plug: the coffee shop Constellation Coffee next door is pretty good as well so help yourself to an iced coffee after your visit. Woo!
