My fiancé has been going to Harold since we moved to Florida 6 months ago, and coming from NYC, where the BEST barbers are, he thought he found a good guy to give him a decent cut. Timothy left a review on here about Harold and he was not lying!

I myself am a beauty editor for Allure Magazine, so I know good beauty work, but that means nothing if you don’t have good service and respect for your customers. I think that’s a no brainer, but I guess not for some.

My fiancé dealt with Harold’s “late policy” one time in the past. Harold got angry when he showed up 5 minutes late and said he couldn’t cut his hair… that was the first time and he didn’t know about his policy. He had to beg for the haircut .. like really?

The last time he was in his chair, right before getting out, he asked Harold to do ONE LITTLE THING - sharpen just ONE LITTLE part of his shape-up with the blade - would’ve taken literally 5 seconds. Harold was already at the register and he proceeds to turn around, claps his hands very aggressively and GOES OFF YELLING “Its too much!” He somehow said my fiancé “nickel and dimes him”, meanwhile my fiancé never complained about a price one time and tips him EVERY SINGLE WEEK (he’s in his chair like clock-work). He also said he was 7 minutes past his haircut time. We’ll maybe if he worked a little quicker, he'd be able to get more done. He told him he didn’t have to pay for the cut and just told him to go. My fiancé asked him if he was serious and when Harold said yes, he just grabbed his stuff and walked out as there was an another customer sitting there waiting — embarrassing and unprofessional.

Harold has a temper and a personality that aren't meant for customer service. He's disrespectful and doesn’t value a good customer who is in his chair EVERY SINGLE WEEK. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

STAY AWAY! I'd like to start by saying Harold has been my barber for 2 years now and cuts hair well. I have always been nice to him and have tipped him 50% or more on every cut (with plans to give him a much heavier tip this particular cut for the holidays as I always do). I have also left him a 5-star review in the past when he first started, which will be removed.

During my appointment today (12/23) I was legitimately 5 mins late due to heavy holiday traffic and my pregnant wife having to use the restroom on the way (I even texted him where I was at, right down the road). When I arrive, I sit down and he acts like there is nothing wrong and we start discussing the show that was playing on his TV. Then as he is cutting my hair I asked what his appointment blocks looked like as I saw a person waiting in the lobby and he said "every half hour" (so the other individual was 30 mins early). I then stated "gotcha, I guess I don't feel as bad then since my hair cut only takes 15 mins" (as in the fact I'm glad I didn't mess up scheduling for him in the day as I am within my half hour block either way).

Once said he then has a full on breakdown and proceeds to rip the barber cape off me and kicks me out in the middle of the haircut in an assaulting manner. I honestly thought he was joking around in the beginning and I even apologized for upsetting him during his rant. I decided he wasn't worth the confrontation and left.

I respect everyones time, as time is money, but I've particularly have taken care of him well every appointment... this was completely unprofessional as I've have been late or have had to make an appointment change maybe 2 or 3 times in two years of seeing him on a consistent basis (life happens). If the 5 mins was so hurtful to him, a simple "you need to reschedule" would have sufficed and I would have even paid the cost of the appointment if needed.

I also understand it is the holidays which are busy times and that people go through issues... until he can sort his out I would seek another barber unless you would like to get assaulted and leave with half a haircut because the guy can't handle himself in a professional matter.

I moved to Florida in 2016 and struggled to find a good barber hopping from shop to shop. You would find a good barber but then the consistency would not be there. They would get comfortable then not cut your hair like the first time until I met Harold, this man takes his time with every cut, never rushes. And I’m very picky with my hair, but this man is extremely professional and I’m so happy to have found him because trying to find a good barber is extremely hard. Thanks a lot Harold, you’re amazing, professional and a great barber! Keep it up brother !

I recommend Harold 100% for your kiddos especially if they're on the spectrum, Harold was very patient with my son and even put cartoons on for him while he got his hair cut. Thank you for giving my son a fresh cut and exactly as the picture we showed you!! Also he's pricing is reasonable. I will definitely recommend Harold to others and see you again soon!!

I have gone here for years. It is clean, well priced and Harold is the best around. Not to mention an all class dude. You can watch a movie or put on ESPN awhile he cuts your hair or edges your beard. It’s such a relaxing atmosphere I usually fall asleep in the chair lol. I highly recommend.
