We had an unexpected rainy day during our trip and called to see if a last minute massage was available and although we couldn’t get in for a couples massage they were able to help both me and my husband with individual appointments which I’m even happier now since we both had the same amazing therapist, Phu! While the spa and relaxation areas are smaller than the other Ritz Carlton Spa we have been to it had very comfortable amenities that we were able to enjoy while there! They had private womens/mens steam room and sauna which was extremely relaxing and a very comfortable and cozy relaxation area which we were both able to enjoy between the services. We were offered some champagne during our visit which was so kind as well! Neither of us drink so we enjoyed the teas and waters they had though! We both had the absolute pleasure of having Phu work on us! He was warm, welcoming, and made sure we were both more than comfortable. He made sure to focus on the different areas that we each requested and was exceptional in making sure to work out some of the knots and tension I had going on. I frequently get massages and am typically a bit more critical since my regular therapist knows my body so well and I can’t say enough beyond impressed I was with my service with Phu. Even upon checking out the team member helping us was exceptional. Coming here definitely lived up to the Ritz Carlton standard!

My manicure lady Maria is an amazing woman, but the product’s quality is not good at all, it didn’t even last one day.
I am so disappointed with the service! I hope that you can improve the quality of your products in the future so that things like this will not happen again.

I booked a much needed spa day but what I encountered was a giant insect (roach, palmetto bug—IDK) in the sauna. Another spa-goer and I called for assistance and the person that tried to save us unsuccessfully stepped on the board to squash the big which crawled under the board for safety from two scared women that can’t handle bugs where they shouldn’t be. The bug survived the squashing ceremony, so reinforcements where called in to spray the monstrous bug. What a way to end an otherwise wonderful experience…

Oh wait, speaking of my experience, I booked a much needed spa day for 12/17—I reserved the Intuitive Ocean treatment and had Shinja as my therapist. She was wonderful and asked what pressure I preferred before she began. She explained thoroughly what she would be doing before getting started. The treatment was not long enough, in my opinion! Shinja made the experience extremely pleasant and I would go back if it weren’t for that damn roach in the sauna. I do believe I am scared for life 😫. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I was expecting to receive from the Ritz, which is why I gave it the low rating. The pool bar does have some incredible views, though…not enough to erase the bug experience, but still worthy of stopping by to check it out… hopefully you’re not staying in the hotel overnight, though, because if there’s one bug, you know there’s gotta be more 🤢

Carmen was amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMEND requesting her!!! She went above and beyond and literally felt the stress melt away. I’ve had a ton of massages in my life but she was able to tap into medical and sports massage which is her expertise to quite literally release so much tension. She’s incredible and as she led me out gave me tips to keep my shoulders and neck pliable at home. Only disappointment was the crazy amount of noise from the pool. It was Sunday and the entire massage all I could hear was music blaring from the pool and the spa like music was barely audible. The facility is gorgeous and huge. For the price I was given 10% off a $225 massage which I thought was not fair for the amount of noise throughout the ENTIRE massage. My thought is at the Ritz Carlton that was unacceptable and 10% was a bit insulting. The blasting music noise was for 100% of the time.

I couldn’t ignore it, 4pm in the afternoon and it was like I was in a spa next door to a nightclub:( I would’ve rated this lower but I want to be real because Carmen was incredible and I would come back if the price reduction for that was fair.

Took my Mother In Law who was visiting from
Canada here. I got an 80 min de-stress massage and Yhu was phenomenal. Paid attention to my areas of concern and worked his magic. He put his all into making me feel like a new person! I left feeling so relaxed and reborn almost. It was everything I needed, thank you Yhu!!!
My mother in law got the cleansing ceremony and she too stated she felt like a new woman. The locker rooms were clean, very large steam room inside the locker room and the relaxation room/waiting area was the perfect place to prepare for your treatment and relax afterwards with a nice tea assortment, coffee and snacks.
Everyone was very helpful and made you feel like the top priority. I live locally and this was my first time, but certainly not my last! Thank you for a much needed day of relaxation.

Carmen (massage) is top notch. She worked on my back for nearly and hour and is amazing! Best massage ever and I am 44 and spa a lot:)
