Melanie is so kind and so much fun! I have had a great experience with her for waxing and facials. I have also got my preteen niece in for a facial with her and Melanie took the time to explain it all the skin care to her and taught her about it’s importance.

Melanie is an amazing esthetician! I stumbled upon her through google and have seen her ever since. She provides great service, great materials/products, clean work space and a laid back environment. I see her once a month for waxing and I couldn’t imagine myself going anywhere else. She is just an all around wonderful human who’s dam good at what she does! I have been getting facials for many years but just recently started seeing Melanie. She does an amazing job!! My skin is absolutely glowing. Melanie is a delight to go to for all your waxing and facial needs! She is one of the most thorough at getting all areas hair free and gives the best head massages. She is easy to talk to and the music is nice and relaxing. The atmosphere is peaceful and clean. She has a lifetime customer in me!

I can't stress how much I love Melanie and The Skin Bar. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, Melanie treats you like you are family! From waxing to facials, I have done it all with Mel. She makes you comfy and cozy while with her. Her waxing skills are above and beyond, and are literally painless. She makes you feel comfortable while ripping the hair from your nether regions 🙂 Her facials are not only cleansing and relaxing but she also gives you tips and pointers on how to keep your skin feeling fresh and hydrated. Its like a massage for your face. She is very knowledgeable. I always leave The Skin Bar happy, rejuvenated, educated, and ready for the day. I can not stress how amazing of an Esthetician she is!! I highly recommend her!!!

If you have not visited Melanie at The Skin Bar Santa Cruz you are missing out! Her waxing skills are on point, she is always in a great mood and the place is spotless (not to mention cute)! Not only does she offer waxing services but also does facials and sells skin care products (she is thoughtful in what she procures so I always know & trust its a good product). During the beginning of SIP I bought my girlfriend and I her DIY facials for home that she delivered personally!! 5 stars all around.

Melanie is Amazing!

I 100% recommend a facial! I’ve only gotten a few facials in my life but Melanie at The Skin Bar has gotten me so many compliments. My sister actually asked me if I had gotten Botox last time I saw her. I have brought my daughter a few times for a “teen facial”. She feels so papered and confident after a treatment it is hard for teens to struggle with acne. If you want to rejuvenate your look with a minimal cost and enjoy an hour of relaxation treat yourself to a facial with Melanie!
