6 hours for simple nails is crazy, and had to pay full price even tho we were there til midnight

If I could give 6 stars for U Nails, I would! The salon I had been going to rushed customers in and out quickly, and I decided to try a new place. I found this one, thankfully! Turns out the last place was damaging my nails in their hurry to get me out the door, and Tam took HOURS (yes, hours) to try to do it right and help repair the damage. They gave me water and coffee, and we had actual conversation during the time I was there.
Tam was a perfectionist with my nails (he worried more about my design being perfect than I did!), and the price was great!
PS.. if you see a review with an ugly picture about U Nails, it was from a previous owner!

I have been using U nails for a while I never had a bad experience. I was a loyal customer. Well I went Saturday Feb. 20.2021 to have a fill in. I was at work on Wednesday Feb 24 2021 and my ring finger on my right hand hurt severely. It was red, swollen and angry. Well I went to urgent care that night, the Dr gave me antibiotics, she stated I had bacteria introduced under my nail, and in my nail bed. She asked me did they cut into my nail, and the answer is yes. Mia grinded into my nail bed. Well Thursday Feb 25, 2021 I had to go back to the Dr. because my finger had swollen 3 times the normal size and fit to bust. My family medical provider stated also I have an infection from bacteria introduced under my nail. She had to refer me to a general surgeon to have the infection removed. I went and talked to them at Unails and they were denying that I got it from there. Even though they grinded into my nail with the sanding tool. They stated they clean their tools with acetone and lights. Well I know they can not put the sand paper grinding tool in acetone, because it will cause it to disintegrate. They tried to proclaim that the UV lights used to cure the gel would have killed any bacteria. They basically just dismissed it and made up excuses. I would not have left a star if Google didn't force me to. I had to choose 1 star to be able to post my review. Think twice before having your nails done. It definitely wasn't worth what I'm going through. I had to have my finger spliced in 2 places to remove the infection.

This was my first time coming here and I was NOT disappointed? HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys if you’re in/around Centre area ? I finally left a salon where my hands weren't throbbing.? 10/10 you guys! I’ll definitely be coming back!

This was my first time ever in 52 years having a pedicure. I was kinda worried about it tickling my feet too much to have it done. The owners and employees are very professional and clear about what they do. I would recommend anyone man or woman to visit U Nails and have a pedicure. My feet feel great and toe nails look the best they ever have. I’m definitely going to return here and have pedicures done regularly. I highly recommend U Nails for men and women. My wife was as impressed as I am.

This was my daughter's first pedicure. They were sooo sweet to her. The man went above and beyond to spoil her while she was in the chair. He truly made her feel special, and I appreciate that. Our nails looked great too!
