I visited this nail salon recently, and while the staff was friendly and talkative, the overall experience left me disappointed. When I arrived, the salon was empty, and I was able to sit in the chair right away. However, the technician spent a lot of time talking before even starting my nails, which slowed down the process unnecessarily.

The construction of the nails was subpar—definitely not up to the standard I expect. I prefer long, coffin-shaped nails, but these were poorly filed, uneven in length and width, and the shape was far from what I asked for. Despite me specifying that I wanted sharp coffin nails, I ended up with something that looked more like square acrylics. The nail technician insisted it was because my natural nail “curves over,” but I know that’s not the case—it was simply a bad application.

Another major issue was the lifting. Within a week, every nail began lifting because my nail beds weren’t properly dehydrated before application. When I returned to have the lifting addressed, the solution offered was to glue the lifted parts back down rather than removing and reapplying the acrylic correctly. She added some filing, but the nails still lacked evenness, smoothness, and durability.

On the positive side, the pedicure was decent. My toes were smooth, and they did a fair job with my feet overall. However, I wouldn’t recommend this salon for acrylic nails. The poor construction, lack of attention to detail, and inability to deliver the shape I wanted have convinced me to return to my old salon, Perfect Nails on Curry Springs, even though it’s across town.

If you’re looking for acrylic nails that are durable, well-shaped, and professionally done, this salon might not be the best choice.

I have been looking for “the right place” in Trussville to do my dip nails and a nice pedicure.. this place went ABOVE AND BEYOND for me and my daughter. I went in to get a new set of dip nails with tips, ended up leaving with that plus a pedicure. I received the deluxe pedicure and it was BY FAR the best pedicure service I have ever received. They spent time with me listened to me, and I left with my feet feeling softer than they ever have. This will be my new nail family no doubt! Thank you all for being the best!

My fingers nail was done good by younger lady but, not my toenails older lady that was there. Half of the side was not even painted at all and it all doubled layer dry not flat . I don’t think I can go back and let them fix it even thought I just left . And the prices are really high for what you get . I will not be returning there . Not happy at all about my toe nails . I believe they used gel polish on my toes instead or regular polish and this why it all crumble up and not smooth.

this nail salon is the BEST in the Trussville area!!! Nina and Jenny are the sweetest and so is their mom and dad!!! I won’t go to any other salon for anything! the pedicures are so relaxing and they never fail to have my nails looking the best!! they are so personal and friendly and their prices are great! i definitely recommend this nail salon!?

Hands down the best place to get a pedicure! They spend extra time massaging your legs and never make you feel rushed, always thanking you for visiting them. I have been looking for over a year for a good pedicure place that spends time actually massaging the legs and feet, and this is the place! I’ve been coming to them for over three years now, and I recommend them to everybody!

I love this place. This family is absolutely amazing. I normally get a pedi (I've had all of them and HIGHLY recommend the jelly) but I wanted to try something different this time.
