We done a drop in on this shop, which isn’t the norm btw - book an appointment. The owner was very chilled and welcoming, and offered us a refreshment. The shop itself looks fantastic, more like someone’s extremely cool man cave. Love the personality of the place within which reflects the owner. So the haircut itself, I showed him a picture of how I usually have it (skin fade) and he nailed it. I actually think he done even better than I have had it before. He neatened up my beard too. The cost is fair, similar to other places I’ve been in the states, but the experience as a whole was so much better than I’ve had previously, therefore I fully recommend this place for your barbering needs.

Yo, if you’re ever in Cocoa Beach and need a fresh cut, you gotta check out my dude Sky at this spot! The whole vibe in there is unreal, like just walking in puts you in a good mood. The lighting’s on point—it’s got this rad, chill glow that makes the whole place feel laid-back but pro, you know? Well, let me tell y’all ‘bout this place down in Cocoa Beach they call Whiskey Town Barbershop, run by a fella name of Sky. Now, Sky, he somethin’ else — sharp as a tack, that one. He got that style, lookin’ fly, like he just step out a magazine, but he make you feel like you sittin’ down with an old friend you done known forever.

Walkin’ in there, it feel just right. Place got this vibe to it, like you in some kinda mix of an old juke joint and a clean, fresh barbershop, smellin’ like fine whiskey and good times. They keep it real nice in there, got you feelin’ relaxed soon as you walk through the door. And I ain’t one to spend a fortune, so them prices? Just right for folks like me.

Now, when Sky pick up them clippers, whew, it’s like he paintin’ a masterpiece. That cut was clean, I’m talkin’ sharper than a preacher’s suit on Easter Sunday. Made me look good, real good — like I could walk into any room and turn a head or two, you know?

And I’ll tell you this, ol’ Sky got himself a love for that scuba divin’. He get to talkin’ ‘bout it, you see the spark in his eye, like he got his heart down there in the deep blue. Just add a little somethin’ special to the man.

This is the coolest barbershop in Cocoa Beach, the store owner is absolutely amazing. He set my groomsmen and I up with a great barber day for before the wedding. Highly recommend for anyone getting married or needing a barber.

So, when I rolled up to Cocoa Beach, I thought, no way I’m gonna find someone here who gets it. But then I find this spot called Whiskey Town Barbershop, and my whole game changed.

I walk in, and the place is run by this vato named Sky. Now, let me tell you, Sky’s got that real OG vibe – like he’s been around, seen some things, but he’s chill, respectful, and smooth, like an old friend you never met. He’s got that laid-back confidence, like he knows he’s the best in the business but ain’t tryin’ to show off. That’s the kinda confidence only a real OG has, you know?

The shop’s got this vibe, too, man. Whiskey Town ain’t like those fancy, overpriced places. It’s got this classic feel, like you’re steppin’ into a spot where men come to get fixed up, feel good, and talk real. There’s somethin’ about it – laid back but tough, like it’s got character. And for a dude just out here tryna get by, the prices are good, like he understands we ain’t all made of money, but we still wanna look sharp.

So I sit down in that chair, right? And I tell him, “You think you can hook up a southside fade?” Now, I’m half-expectin’ him to look at me like I’m crazy – but Sky, he just nods, says, “I got you, homie.” And he’s not lyin’, man. Sky took those clippers and went to work, and I knew from the first pass he knew exactly what he was doin’. He nailed that fade, tight and clean, the way it’s supposed to be. I’m talkin’ perfect lines, smooth transition, all that – I’ve never seen a barber outside Cali hit a southside fade like that.

By the end of it, I’m lookin’ in the mirror, thinkin’ – damn, this is my new favorite vato. Sky didn’t just give me a cut; he gave me respect. He’s my go-to now, my barber out here, no question. And it’s not just the fade – it’s the whole experience, the way he makes you feel like family, like he’s got your back just by doin’ his job right.

So if you’re in Cocoa Beach and you want a real cut, hit up the OG Sky at Whiskey Town Barbershop. Ain’t nobody else around here that’s got it like him.

I just had my first haircut and beard trim by Sky and I couldn't be happier with the outcome and experience. Hair and beard came out great (the guy is an artist). The Barber Shop is well decorated with a Whisky Bar style with vintage barber tools displayed. Very local feel and Sky did an amazing job. I found my new barber!
